15 Hours of Funded Childcare Now Available for 9-Month-Olds!

Dear Parents,

We have fantastic news to share with you! Starting September 2024, eligible working parents with 9-month-olds can benefit from 15 hours of funded childcare per week. This new initiative aims to support you in balancing work and family life, and we want to ensure you’re fully prepared to take advantage of this opportunity.

What You Need to Know

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for the 15 hours of funded childcare, parents must meet the HMRC eligibility criteria. This involves checking your eligibility online through Gov.uk. Make sure to apply for your working parent code well before the start of the Autumn Term.

Application Deadline: Applications for the Autumn Term (September to December) need to be submitted by 31 August 2024. It’s crucial that your working parent code’s start date falls within the Summer Term. Missing this deadline could mean you won’t be able to start using the funded childcare in the Autumn Term.

Get Your Code Early: We recommend applying for your working parent code as soon as possible. It can take up to seven days for a code to be issued, and once you receive it, we will verify it through our dashboard. Ensure that your code is valid by checking it under age/eligibility checks.

Keep Your Code Valid: If you apply more than three months before the term starts, you’ll need to reconfirm your eligibility in your childcare services account to keep your code active. Remember, eligibility must be reconfirmed every three months.
