Dear Parents/Carers,
We’re delighted to share that applications are now open for eligible working parents of 2-year-olds to receive 15 hours of funded childcare, starting from April 2024. Starting in April 2024, you, as eligible working parents of 2-year-olds, will have the opportunity to access 15 hours of childcare support. Moreover, from September 2024, this 15-hour childcare support will be extended to eligible working parents with a child from 9 months old.
Further exciting news is that from September 2025, eligible working parents with a child from 9 months old up to school age will be eligible for 30 hours of childcare support. To check eligibility criteria and find other useful information, please click the following button.
Before claiming the 15 hours of funded childcare, please ensure that you meet HMRC’s eligibility criteria. You can conveniently apply online on Gov.uk.
For parents who are already receiving tax-funded childcare and have a reconfirmation window in late February and March, we want to provide additional reassurance. HMRC is taking extra steps to ensure that every parent can provide their code to their childcare provider well in advance. If your reconfirmation window opens on or after the 15th of February, HMRC will send you a letter with a temporary code before this date. This letter will also guide you on how to use the code to claim your funded place in April.
