✔️ WMB Winstanley Day Nursery
✔️ WMB Hillcity Day Nursery
✔️ WMB Born2Reign Day Nursery
✔️ WMB Born2Win Day Nursery
What Is This Recognition About?
Dingley’s Promise is an organisation dedicated to supporting children in the early years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, known as SEND. Their training helps early years practitioners build confidence, knowledge and practical skills so they can create more inclusive environments for all children. Dingley’s Promise explains that its training supports professionals to improve inclusive practice and better support children with SEND.
The Early Years Inclusion Programme focuses on helping nursery teams understand the needs of all children, especially those with SEND, and develop the confidence to support each child’s learning, development and wellbeing. The programme includes training and learning resources designed to improve awareness, confidence and inclusive practice.
For parents, this means our teams are continuing to grow in the way they support children with different needs, abilities, communication styles and learning journeys.
What This Means for Our Children and Families
At WMB Childcare, we believe every child is unique, valued and full of potential. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to making sure children feel safe, included, understood and supported in their nursery environment.
Through this training, our practitioners are better equipped to:
✔️ Recognise and respond to individual needs
✔️ Support children with SEND in daily nursery life
✔️ Work closely with parents and families
✔️ Create inclusive play and learning opportunities
✔️ Build children’s confidence, independence and sense of belonging
✔️ Promote kindness, patience and understanding across the nursery
Inclusion is not just about support plans or extra help. It is about making sure every child feels they belong, every family feels listened to, and every practitioner feels confident in giving children the right support at the right time.
Our Ongoing Commitment
We are incredibly proud that WMB Carisbrook, WMB Winstanley, WMB Hillcity, WMB Born2Reign and WMB Born2Win have all achieved this recognition.
This is an important step in our continued journey to provide high-quality, inclusive early years care across all our nurseries. We remain committed to working in partnership with parents, professionals and our wider community to give every child the best possible start.
At WMB Childcare, we lay Godly Early Years Foundations, and inclusion is a vital part of that foundation.
