Salma Choukri is a dynamic and dedicated Lead SENCO with over 7 years of experience in early years education and special needs. Qualified to Level 4 in both Early Years and Special Educational Needs, Salma oversees SEND provision across all WMB Childcare settings, ensuring high standards of inclusive practice and early intervention.
She collaborates closely with health visitors, Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), Educational Psychologists (EP), and Rodney House Outreach Service to ensure that children receive timely, targeted support. From identifying needs and leading referrals to navigating the Early Years SEND pathway and coordinating successful transitions to school, Salma plays a key role in shaping positive outcomes for children and families.
With a strong knowledge of early years frameworks and a passion for inclusive education, Salma is recognised for her ability to connect, lead, and advocate across settings and services.
