Community involvement

Ronald McDonald Charity House

As part of our commitment to community outreach, our WMB Senior management team visited the Ronald McDonald House in Manchester on November 17th. During the visit, we engaged in discussions with a representative who provided valuable insights into the charity's mission and services.

In essence, the Ronald McDonald House, situated on the grounds of the MRI, plays a crucial role in offering accommodation to families with children in intensive care or facing long-term hospitalization due to conditions such as cancer and brain tumors.

Their dedicated efforts revolve around creating a 'home away from home' experience for these families, even those with other small children. This resonates deeply with our vision of providing a warm and comforting environment for children in our care.

Inspired by the shared ethos of creating a nurturing space for families, WMB initiated fundraising activities to contribute and give back to the community.

Through our collaboration with Ronald McDonald House, we strive to support their mission and extend our commitment to fostering a 'homey' atmosphere for children facing challenging circumstances.
