Early Years Award 2026 Recognised by Manchester City Council — Gold Healthy Smile Award

We are proud to share that WMB Childcare has been awarded the Gold Healthy Smile Award, presented by Manchester City Council at their Early Years Celebration Event in March 2026. Being invited to celebrate alongside early years providers from across Greater Manchester was a privilege — and leaving with the Gold Award made it a truly unforgettable moment for our entire team.

What Is the Gold Healthy Smile Award?

The Healthy Smile Award is a recognition programme led by Manchester City Council that celebrates early years settings committed to outstanding practice in children’s oral health and overall wellbeing. Reaching Gold standard reflects consistent, high-quality care embedded into daily nursery life — from healthy eating routines to age-appropriate oral hygiene practices.

This is not a tick-box achievement. It is a genuine reflection of the dedication our practitioners bring to every single day in our nurseries.

This award belongs to our incredible practitioners. Every morning routine, every snack time, every moment of care — our staff approach it all with intention and heart.
